Weighing in at 2.3kg (5.1lbs) with a stunning Hawaiian solid Koa top with Pale Non-Figured Maple binding, Taylor's Patented V-class bracing, Maple rosette, solid Koa back and sides, Tropical Mahogany satin finish neck, West African Crelicam Ebony Fretboard and binding with Spring Vine Maple inlay, 20 frets, black Tusq Nut, Micarta Saddle, and also West African Crelicam Ebony bridge, bridge pins, and truss rod cover.
Featuring an innovative Soundport, located in the cutaway that helps disperse sound for room-filling tones, while V-Class bracing enhances the response with more power, longer sustain and a more harmonious sound between notes as you move down the neck - this beauty is just an absolute joy to play!
Electronics feature Taylor's Patented (ES2) Expression System 2, a revolutionary pickup design that delivers the latest in Taylor’s ongoing innovation in acoustic guitar amplification. This behind-the-saddle pickup features three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors for more dynamic range of acoustic sound to be captured than ever before.
Controls are positioned on the outer top side at the neck heel.
Tuners are Gotoh 510s with a 21:1 gear ratio for ultra-precise tuning.
Comes with its original Taylor Hardshell Case (Rear Latch Broken), and Taylor booklets.
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 12-53 Phosphor Bronze strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics tested and working perfectly, hardware cleaned and secured.
Frets are showing extremely minor play wear at the first 5 frets, playability is superb.
Overall condition is Near Mint with the exception of one minor dent just next to the controls, and one tiny mark at the base of the neck heel near the strap button.
