Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this absolute Monster Formentin Signature, Custom Made for John Meyer by Rob Formentin in Perth, Western Australia in 1991.
 
Serial No: N/A - As this is an early Formentin model and was custom made for John, it does not have a serial number. Upon contacting Rob, he has confirmed details of the build and has signed Cushmic Sound's Certificate Of Authenticity (COA)
 
Weighing in at 4.2kg (9.4lbs) with a 1-piece Hard Ash body, Maple neck, Rosewood fretboard with 9.5" Radius and 22 Jumbo frets.
 
Pickups and electronics feature a late 90's Seymour Duncan SSL1 Single Coil in the neck position, a Fender Lace Sensor in the middle position and a Dimarzio DP 101 Dual Sound Humbucker in the bridge position with a Mini-Toggle switch for coil split, 5-way Blade Switch, 1 Volume, 1 Tone control, and bridge position Tone control has what is believed to be an "out of phase" switch - but I can't confirm.
 
Pickup outputs;
- Neck: 6.43k
- Middle: 5.76k
- Bridge: 7.32k (Single) 14.48k (Humbucker)
 
All Gotoh (Japan) chrome hardware - Floating Trem, Tuners, Locking nut and 2 allen keys with holder on the back of the headstock.
 
Comes with its Original Hardshell Case, Trem Arm, Cushmic Sounds Certificate Of Authenticity (COA), a photo of the collection taken here at Cushmic Sounds, 3 photos of John playing the guitar live, and 2 extra photos of John in his studio.
 
I have also included a (Discontinued) Dimarzio DP115 HS-1 Noiseless (Neck) pickup that was previously in the guitar.
 
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 9-46 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics cleaned, tested and working perfectly, all hardware cleaned and secured.
 
Overall condition is Very Good - There is play wear throught, some finish checking at the base of both sides of the Trem.
 
Frets are showing some wear, but nothing that warrants a fret level at this stage so playability is superb!
