Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this absolutely stunning 2021 model Gibson Custom Shop R8 Les Paul in a lovely Lemon Burst Nitro VOS finish.
 
Weight is a very comfortable 4.03kg (8.8lbs). This is an exceptionally well balanced guitar.
 
Features include a beautifully finished solid Mahogany (non-weight relieved) back that is also quite resonant, a 50s rounded medium C shape Mahogany neck, dark indian Rosewood fretboard with narrow/tall frets and nicely figured and aged cellulose inlays.
 
All Nickel hardware, with the exception of the saddles being Nickel-plated brass, no-wire ABR-1 bridge, lightweight aluminium stop bar tailpeice and Kluson single line, single ring tuners.
 
A pair of brilliant sounding Alnico III (Unpotted) Custombuckers will have you playing this thing non-stop.
 
Keeping you in control are a set of CTS 500K Audio Taper Pots, Paper-in-oil Caps, a Switchcraft 3-way switch as well as a Switchcraft Jack.
 
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 10-46 strings in E standard tuning. Fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, frets cleaned and polished, action and intonation set, truss rod tested and works as I should.
 
NOTE: There are a couple of (very minor) scratches on the back of the body and on the horn on the front of the guitar. (see photos)
 
Comes with its Original Brown 5-Latch Lifton Reissue Case with pink interior and case key, COA Booklet with Historic Reissue Hang Tags and a very cool Gibson Custom Switchplate Medallion. (black plastic switchplate cover in Case)
