Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer on consignment this rather rare piece in the form this gorgeous vintage Gibson Les Paul Heritage Series Standard - 80 Elite, finished in Heritage Sunburst (HSB stamped in pickup cavity). At the time, this was Gibson's first attempt at recreating the '59 burst and this example is a first year model of this limited series, produced only from 1980-82.

Weighing in at 4.65kg (10.25bs) with a solid 1-piece Mahogany body, 2-piece Quilted Maple top, 1-piece Maple neck with 50s rounded "C" shape profile, stunningly clean Ebony fingerboard, figured Acrylic inlays and original 43.80mm (1.696") nut.
 
NOTE: A replacement Mother-of-pearl inlay has been added at the 3rd fret.
 
Featuring its original pair of sought-after Tim Shaw humbuckers with original CTS 500k pots, caps, output jack, wiring and 3-way switch.

All original hardware with USA Grover tuners, Shaller (Germany) Nashville style Tune-o-matic bridge, Stop bar tailpiece, anchors, posts and studs
 
All original plastics.
 
Frets have been professionally replaced and are in AS NEW condition. Playability is absolutely superb!
 
Condition is Very Good with the exception of some minor play wear throughout, there is a noticeable knock at the top of the headstock on the treble side, but overall this is just a lovely vintage Gibson in (Almost All Original) condition!
 
Comes with its original Gibson Hardshell Case. All latches and handle in functional working order.
 
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 10-46 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics cleaned, tested and in working order, all hardware cleaned and secured.
