Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 10-46 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and very lightly oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics cleaned, tested and working perfectly, hardware cleaned and secured.
Regarding the refret; Frets are in excellent condition. It's hard to say how long ago this was done, but there's quite a bit of tooling marks and chips to the rosewood. Refretting vintage guitars with Rosewood or Ebony is a huge task as removing the frets can result in peices of wood being pulled out along with the fret and glue. This ain't the worst I've seen, but also not the best either.
None of this effects the overall playabilty of this brilliant machine as playability is absolutely superb!
Overall condition is Very Good with only minimal horizontal finish checking and light playwear throughout the front and back of the body. The neck shows some discolouration and light finish checking throughout while the headstock shows a fair amount of finish checking, especially over the Gibson logo. No breaks, structural cracks, repairs or overspray.
