Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this absolutely gorgeous Gibson Les Paul Standard finished in Honey Burst from 1994 - Gibson's Centenary year, from my personal collection!
Weighing in at 4.2kg (9.3lbs) with a resonant Mahogany body and a stunning maple top that shows quite a bit of action. The late 50s style neck is made from 1-piece Mahogy topped with a Rosewood fretboard, figured Pearl inlays, 22 frets and Nylon nut.
Featuring a pair of Roaring Gibson 490R/498T Humbuckers, Original CTS Volume Pots with replacement CTS Tone Pots, replacement Caps and Original Switchcraft 3-way switch.
Original Gibson Deluxe Tuners with green buttons.
Overall condition is good. There are knocks, dongs, scratches and scrapes throughout but no structural damage or issues. This baby has been played, gigged, but also loved.
The back, sides and headstock face have been refinished. When I purchased this guitar a couple of years ago, it was in poor cosmetic condition. I wouldn't normally worry about it, but it was as though the previous owner had taken the aging process into their own hands - with a fork!
Ah well. It was a reasonable deal at the time for a USA Les Paul.
The refin work was done by Mark Taylor at Rocket Music Co. Here in Perth at a cost of $600 AUD.
Comes with its Original Brown Gibson Hardshell Case (Combination lock damaged).
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario 11-52 strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, intonation and action set, truss rod tested and works as it should, electronics cleaned, tested and working perfectly, all hardware cleaned and secured.
Frets are in outstanding condition so playability is perfect!
