Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this very, very nice Gibson Les Paul Standard from 2002 in a gorgeous Honey Burst finish with a beautiful figured flame top that changes with every angle!
Featuring Gibson's famous BurstBucker Pro #1 and #2 pickups with Alnico V magnets.
These were an upgrade on Gibson's standard pickups at the time. They produce an authentic vintage Les Paul tone with bite and a seductive 'airy' tone when both pickups are on, and clean up beautifully when rolling the volume down a little.
The body features a one-piece Mahogany back with a carved AA grade two-piece Maple top
The neck is one-piece Mahogany, the fretboard is Rosewood with beautiful figured Pearl Trapazoid inlays. Original frets are in excellent condition.
Everything on this beauty is 100% original. The nickel hardware has slightly tarnished but is in excellent condition. Remember, this a 20 year old instrument! All controls, the switch work perfectly, tuners are stable and do their job. Truss Rod has been tested and works as it should.
Condition: Very good with light worming on the back of the body.
The guitar has spent a lot of time on a wall hanger so unfortunately has some "hanger burn" (See photos).
A couple of small cracks on the Input Jack and light scraches overall.
Fully serviced and set up here at Cushmic Sounds. Frets cleaned and polished, Fretboard cleaned and oiled, all Hardware cleaned, Electronics cleaned and tested, strung with D'Addario 10-46 strings tuned to E standard, action and intonation set.
She plays beautifully!
Included is the Original Hardshell Case with grey plush interior and black shroud, Gibson checklist, Truss Rod Tool and vintage guitar strap that was purchased with the guitar.
