Cushmic Sounds is thrilled to offer on consignment, from Martin's "Golden Era" of guitar manufacturing, this gorgeous vintage 00-18 Grand Concert size acoustic from 1957.

Weighing in at a mere 1.6kg (3.52lbs) with a 2-peice solid Spruce top, solid Mahogany back & sides, 1-peice Mahogany neck with super comfortable "V" shape profile, Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay, original Mother-of-pearl inlays, 20 replacement frets, and what looks to be the original Bone nut.
 
Caliper measurements:
Nut width: 42.95mm (1.691")
Neck width at 12th fret: 53.78mm (2.117")
Neck depth at 1st fret: 21.03mm (0.828")
Neck depth at 10th fret: 26.49mm (1.043")
 
Original/Replacement parts:
• Bone nut looks to be original and reinstalled 
• 20 replacement (vintage-correct) frets
• Original Brazilian Rosewood bridge
• Replacement Bone saddle (Original included)
• Original bridge pins
• Original individual Grover "Open-back" tuners in good working order
• Original teardrop tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard is still in place.
• Original multi-ply binding throughout with tortoiseshell celluloid outer on the front and back.
 
Comes with non-original Hardshell Case with 2 keys, and 2 D'Addario humidipaks.
 
Serviced and restrung here at Cushmic Sounds with D'Addario XS 11-52 Phosphor Bronze strings, frets polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled.
 
NOTE: The neck has been professionally reset, so playability is exceptional.
 
NOTE: These vintage Martin acoustics DO NOT have an adjustable truss rod, instead a steele "T" bar. Introduced in 1934, it was the standard for neck stability for roughly 30 years and is still highly regarded by collectors and luthiers for its rigidity and perceived tonal benefits.
 
Overall condition is Excellent, considering this beauty is 69 years young. There are no major knocks, dings or structural damage, and all internal bracing is secure so just sit back and enjoy the lovely finish checking throughout.
