Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer this gorgeous R Taylor Style 1 model Acoustic from 2007 with All Master Grade Hawaiian Koa body, made in El Cajon, California.
This is a 1-owner guitar, purchased brand new by a Collector here in Perth.

Back in 2006, co-founder & master luthier of Taylor Guitars, Bob Taylor created a new "boutique" division called R Taylor. Located within the same factory facility with its own exclusive product line and distribution channels, Five veteran luthiers were selected to produce guitars of the highest quality, with extra handwork and attention to detail, using only premium materials and tone woods from Bob's private stash. The intention was to target/compete with the boutique guitar market at the time.
Produced for only a few years, these R Taylors are some of the most beautiful guitars ever made by Taylor and are quite hard to find, especially this particular Master Grade Hawaiian Koa model.
Weighing in at 2kg (4.4lbs) with Magnificent, Mesmerising, Master Grade Hawaiian Koa Flame Top, Back and Sides there is action everywhere you look with stunning flame, beautiful vertical grain, and finished to perfection with Striped African Ebony binding throughout which extends to the upper bout with a contoured armrest for comfort, beautiful Green Heart Abolone inlay rosette, African Ebony bridge with matching bridge pins also with Green Heart Abolone inlay, and Bone saddle.
With internal Modified 'X' Bracing for strength and exceptional volume projection, this beautiful guitar sings like an angel and has a tone that'll bring a tear to your eyes.
The neck is 2-piece Mahogany with comfortable "C" shape profile, African Ebony fretboard with 12" radius, 20 frets, Mother-of-pearl side dot inlays, Striped African Ebony headstock face & back.
Keeping you in tune are a set of ultra smooth, sturdy, gold Gotoh 510 Super Machine Heads with 1:21 gear ratio.
Comes with its original Custom Ameritage Hardshell Case with embroidered R Taylor logo and Case Key still in sealed packaging.
Original R Taylor shipping box is also included!
Serviced and setup here at Cushmic Sounds with Elixir 80/20 bronze 12-53 guage strings, frets cleaned and polished, fretboard cleaned and lightly oiled, truss rod tested, adjusted, and works as it should, hardware cleaned and secured.
Overall condition is 'MINT' and playability is superb!
